Paul Pogba’s future has been uncertain since the player said that playing for Real Madrid would be a dream come true.
Furthermore, his agent Mino Raiola repeatedly said that his client was not happy at Manchester United and that they would find a way to leave Old Trafford.
During a press conference, Raiola said: “Paul is unhappy with Man Utd as he is no longer able to express himself in the way that he would like and as he is expected to. Paul needs a new team, a change of air. ”
Paul Pogba is in the last 12 months of his contract, which puts pressure on the club to define what to do with the player. If the Man U hierarchy does not act fast, the player could leave at zero cost at the end of his contract.
Recently Raiola made it clear what conditions Pogba looks for in a club. “Pogba has always been interested in one thing, winning the Champions League, titles, that’s his objective,” he added. “And we’ll see if that’s possible at United or at other big European clubs.”
Pogba also said that he would stay at Manchester United if the club lets him play in the position that he feels most comfortable with.
“I always want the ball, to touch the ball, be there to make the last pass, third pass, assist shot header and as well to be there defensively I can do it,” Pogba said and added: “I would prefer to be further [forward] but as long as I play that’s all that matters.”
This summer will be crucial for Pogba’s future, and his stay at Old Trafford will depend on whether the Red Devils comply with his demands.
