NBA analyst Stephen A Smith worried about Warriors’ youngster Jonathan Kuminga after hearing shocking rumours

The Golden State Warriors will be back for another season as they will look to defend their NBA Championship. However, they have lost a few players who were very important for their title charge last season and it will be interesting to see how they fare with the youngsters that they have. There is plenty of talent in the roster with someone like Jordan Poole, Jonathan Kuminga, Moses Moody and James Wiseman. While Poole has already started taking long strides in the league, others will be looking to take the steps in the correct direction in the upcoming season.

While these players are very highly spoken and rated, NBA Analyst Stephen A. Smith on his podcast ‘First Take’ shared some shocking facts about a Warriors youngster which will raise doubts in everyone’s mind. He revealed how he has heard things about Jonathan Kuminga and without going much into personal details, Smith is concerned about the success getting to head while his career has not even fully started yet.

“I’m worried about Kuminga. I’m hearing too many things about him off the court, in terms of his head, the level of discipline that he lacks, some of the foolishness. I’m not getting in his personal business, I’m not saying nothing like that. I’m talking attitude, I’m not talking actions,” Smith shared on his podcast.

Smith wants him to put his head down and work hard as he has tremendous potential. The analyst event claims as a fan of the player and hence his concern is genuine. “I’m saying the attitude, the level of focus, commitment, determination to put your head down doing the work. I’m hearing that he’s short changing the Warriors in that regard and he got to get his act together because I’m a Jonathan Kuminga fan,” he concluded.

When the likes of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green decide to step aside from the Warriors, these are the players who will look to carry forward the legacy. Some of them will be crucial players in the upcoming season due to the departure of some player from last season. So the youngsters need to focus much more on their game rather than anything else.

If Smith is true then these are concerning matters as Kuminga is only 19 and this is the time for him to focus on his growth and development as a player and not indulge in unwanted matters. These are players who are the future of the greatest modern day NBA legacy and if they turn out like this then that matter can get out of hand very quickly.
