Former NBA star JJ Redick feels the Warriors have faced tougher challenges than the Boston celtics in the NBA Finals

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are back in the NBA Finals as they once again prove that their dynasty is not over yet. The Dubs made it to their sixth finals in eight years proving the domination of Curry and his team in entirety.

However, the Warriors are against this tough Boston Celtics side who have come all the way to the finals beating teams like Brooklyn Nets, reigning champions Milwaukee Bucks and then defeated Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. So it will be a tough match for the Warriors but it’s a fact that none of the Celtics players have ever featured in a final. Big man Al Horford will be playing his first NBA finals after so long. So Curry and his men have a massive edge over the Celtics in that area. They know how to hold their nerves and get that calmness, basically they know how to win Championships.

On ESPN’s “First Take,” analyst and former NBA veteran JJ Redick said he is not much bothered about the Celtics matchup against Golden State Warriors as he has seen them face much better teams in the NBA Finals in the past. He believes that if teams that had Lebron James leading from the front could not stop Stephen Curry then the Celtics are getting nowhere near that.

Although he credited Boston as an elite defensive unit, he pointed out how they dont have a player like LeBron to drive things forward and put that impact on the play. “They don’t have a guy like LeBron who can orchestrate down the stretch,” Redick said. “Jayson Tatum as good as he is … he is not that guy. … I know how hard it is to stop a LeBron James-led offense, it’s nearly impossible.”

But with Stephen Curry eyeing a potential fourth NBA Championship to be among the greatest evers of this game it will be a tough time stopping the Chef. The legendary point guard was in great form against the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals as he got the Magic Johnson COnference MVP for averaging 23.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 7.4 assists per game. So it will be interesting to see what plans Ime Udoka and his men come up with to stop Curry in the NBA Finals.
